It is my pleasure to recommend IDC Construction, LLC for the general contracting role in any resort or hotel renovation / construction project.

IDC Construction was the general contractor for the Casa Marina
Resort and Beach Club project located in Key West, Florida, the scope of which was a comprehensive, upscale renovation project intended to reposition the asset into a higher rated market segment.

Working in our location presented many unusual challenges, such as a property listed on the national register of historical locations, product and staffing logistics for a tiny remote island, dramatic weather conditions and a ‘unique’ local building code department. Suffice to say, IDC met these challenges with a can-do attitude, impressive resources, great leadership and active on-sight engagement from their local and corporate personnel.

IDC worked seven days a week with our resort management team and remained focused on minimizing the impact that the construction had on guests. IDC provided excellent quality of work in all areas of this large-scale project which ranged from guest rooms, lobbies and special event areas to building exteriors, pool replacement and landscaping. IDC’s attention to detail, quality work and commitment to ‘doing it right’ helped enable our resort to achieve our unprecedented fourth diamond from Mobil AAA.

Not only are we thankful for the high quality product that we now have available to our guests, but we consider their team part of our extended family and friends.
