IDC Construction performed a large-scale comprehensive renovation of the Marriott Crabtree Valley hotel located in Raleigh, NC. This full service hotel is 30 years old and the renovations infused the property with new life, all performed while the hotel remained open and operational. The exterior facelift and updating of all finishes, along with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades restored this to a premiere property in the Raleigh area.

Prior to this Marriot renovation, there was an indoor pool with access to a swim area outside. This structure was torn down and replaced with a new ground up, 15,000 sq ft beautiful ballroom and pre-function area. The ballrooms pre-function space has Nana wall doors leading out to a tranquil courtyard with a stone fireplace for night time entertaining.

By building this additional meeting space, the hotel will be able to accommodate its clients
growing meeting space needs.

The guest tower renovation consisted of 368 guestrooms with 4 Luxury Suites. IDC installed new fan coil units and all related piping and electrical. Bathrooms were completely restored, with all tubs being removed, installing new shower pans with Porcelain tile for wall finishes. The bathrooms received new porcelain floor tile installed throughout with new stained wood vanities and plumbing fixtures. The Guestrooms received all new VWC wall finishes along with new carpet and furnishings.

Included in the property-wide renovations were reimagined meeting areas, boardrooms, fitness center and al new, sleek BRAISE dining areas including the bar, contemporary lounge, restaurant and buffet area.
The Marriott Crabtree also now boasts luxurious suites, including the new Presidential Suite, constructed of 3 standard guestrooms to make one beautiful suite with a separate bedroom and exquisite bathroom. Along with the Presidential Suite, IDC completed the Executive Suite, Hospitality Suite, and new Concierge areas to supplement the luxury guest experience.

The existing Porte Cochere was completely removed and rebuilt. This brand new entrance gives the hotel a resort style feeling to this newly renovated property. On the other side of the hotel, guests can enjoy this resort style pool. The pool area has its own food service and is able to host private functions.
